    • Notes: Longest running and most significant RP undertaken with former partner Kevin. Ran throughout the bulk of 2012 and 2013. Has potential for reworking. An absolutely massive SBURB session starring a group of kids who had already played once and rebooted their session in order to save their dead friends.
  • The Tenants: Mystery horror following amnesiac June in a boarding house full of horrors.

    • Notes: First of its kind rp between just Amber and I. Created to fill the rp void in between Redux answers and when Kevin wasn’t online. Concepted as a point and click horror mystery game but as an rp and including erortica.

    • Notes: Meant to be a true sequel to the Tenants, I aped the structure of it too closely, and ended up with something that felt (to me) uninspired and trite, and kind of only valuable for its erotica.

    • Notes: Amber’s first foray into DMing/directing, this ambitious multipart J-horror inspired story started out as an erotica and quickly was retooled when the erotic part didn’t fit the tone. Absolutely heart wrenching and ruined Somewhere Over the Rainbow for me for ages.

    • Notes: Conceived as a netflix/straight-to-DVD horror movie, I always felt the story was a little rushed and maybe had some plot holes, but its one of Amber’s favorites so who am I to say?
  • Home is Where the Heart is V1: Coming home after Vietnam, Gabe’s hometown is strange.

    • Notes: Jacob’s Ladder meets fairyales in a strange smalltown story of a soldier returning from the Vietnam war. Issues with external pacing caused the game to drag, and there was a bit of friction due to some traumatic plot points between Amber and I. Ultimately it was a great story and it’s a shame that skype ate it. This was the last piece done entirely on skype.
  • Chronocide Part 1: Spy Thriller in which Hazel Davidson travels through time to defeat The Body of Peace, a Rogue  military unit of Terra’s Pax Republic alongside Viper.

    • Notes: Skype portion (about the first third) of the document was completely lost, while the discord portion is archived. This was the first part (a complete story on its own) of multipart epic Chronocide, a retooling of many of our favorite elements of the Metal Gear Solid series, that uses the central conceit of ‘time cancer; in order to streamline the story from MGS fragmentary ideas. This one specifically takes inspiration from Snake Eater.
  • All Mortal Flesh Part One: Anne Marie journeys to a cult compound to find her sister.

    • Notes: began life as an attempt at a straight-faced puritanical cult horror, but shifted gears into an erotic thriller when I realized that I couldn’t stomach writing the antichrist as a bad guy. Holds up shockingly well on a re-read, with a gripping narrative that’s only slightly bogged down by all the porn.
  • Chronocide Part 2: Spy Thriller, Hazel stops her cloned sister Iron after she seizes control of an arctic research station with her Wounded Pride Unit.

    • Notes:  The second part of the Chronocide series, introducing Ana and Hazel’s extending family. This one takes specific inspiration from MGS1/Twin Snakes.I don’t recall what the cause of the long pose (a year and a half!) between writing sessions was.

    • Notes: An absolutely MASSIVE undertaking by Amber coming in at around 500k words and covering 5ish complete murder mystery cases and ancilary social interactions. Proving once again that Mirror Mirror was no fluke and Amber can break my heart on a whim.

    • Notes: Inspired by Pathologic and using the furry setting of Gaea, and the country of Mosgrav so that I didn’t have to do any research. I ended up doing (mostly medical) research anyway. House MD, meets ritual/rural horror, I used Genesys dice to decide a few outcomes here and there which led to some great spontaneity. The first game I directed that used a spreadsheet (and benefited greatly from it.)

    • Notes: Only large and semi-public rp I’ve ever been a part of that actually completed, Seabiscuit was a fantastic DM who coordinated things with an impressive level of skill and crafted a narrative with a lot of heart. Being able to actual fail at executing the right perpetrator and let the blackened go free was absolutely hell on my nerves but certainly added to the tension.
