Neat little part in Pearl’s magnificent song.

Soooo, Rose Quartz had previously been with men whom she’d not loved but kept around for a while until she was done with them. Very interesting. Great little bit of character building slipped in with just one lyric. I like that Rose could have verily easily been this benevolent Christ-like figure but instead she’s…a rebelling warlord who is formidable, powerful, had an ongoing love affair with one of her generals, and if the mood struck, she’d bed a man every now and again.
She was a bad motherfucker. I love it.
