Let’s see, I’m 30, and a huge nerd. Love cartoons and anime, videogames, horror movies etc. I’m a (decent) writer, and a (shitty) artist, but I love doing both. I love the act of creation, and I’m always taking on stupid new projects that go nowhere. I love horror and mysteries,and science fiction, and I once made a 7 foot tall Slenderman mannequin and took it with me to a work Halloween party. Some of my favorite works of fiction are Silent Hill, House of Leaves, the Marvel universe circa the mid 90s, Sailor Moon, and anything that’s a noir mystery pastiche or has pirates.
I grew up in a shitty household and I’m still dealing with that. Live with my wonderful fiancee, and the two best roommates everywhere. I live out in the country which is both wonderful and terrible, because on the one had its beautiful and quiet and slow, and on the other hand it takes forever to get anywhere, and I still don’t know how to drive.
I love collecting things like stuffed animals and dolls, and I have way too many of them for the space i live in, so I’ve sort of moved to collecting virtual things like online pet game stuff.
I once ran an entire alternate reality game all by myself that ran for several months in 2005. (Rookery Tower). It was a horror/mystery that involved a haunted house, a demon, and conjoined ghost twins.
I have an ongoing (currently on hiatus) comic series that’s based on Silent Hill.
I have a lot of fairly weird spiritual beliefs that I write about @captain-s-mingfang including being otherkin, and having headmates. I’ve had experiences relating to these beliefs since I was a very small child.
I talk about myself too much, and I talk about my girlfriend and lot too 😛 I mostly don’t talk about myself on THIS blog though, and instead just reblog cool/funny shit here. So, this is probably the most you’ll see about me on this blog.
