ok ok ok so…otherkin are…i just don’t get them. the other ones with the fucking regular animals? ye okay thats fine a little out there but…otherkin. i just cannot comprehend how someone can believe in their heart that their soul is of something that doesn’t or never existed. how? why? a cry for attention? jumping on the bandwagon? idk man.
Ignoring your near-incomprehensible syntax, let me try to explain.
You say you can’t comprehend fictionkin? or kin with creatures or people not of this world? I can tell you flat out that it’s NOTHING to do with a cry for attention, or jumping on the bandwagon. That kind of misconception about us drives me up the wall. It paints us as a bunch of attention seeking children,
For me, Personally. It’s a spiritual belief. I believe in reincarnation and of other universes outside of our own. And I believe a spirit can cross between that universal line after death. My soul is nonhuman, yeah, and passed through universes that are depicted in earth fiction. I believe this with all my heart. Because of the feelings I have. The memories and snippets of dreams that come me. Honestly it’s not all that different than someone believing in any spiritual belief.
For me, because of my belief in the multiverse and reincarnation, the things you say ‘didn’t and never existed’ did. They existed for me and feel as real as anything else. I remember alien moons. The feeling of being a hard light projection. I remember the digital world. I remember magic and creatures like those you claim couldn’t ever exist. All these are legitimate memories. and they’re important to me. Part of my life.
In summation:
Thats why. It’s important to my identity. It’s who i am and who I was.
How is the multiverse.
no i’m not seeking fucking attention. In fact, I’m one of the quietest people you’ll find in this community. .
