Since the “don’t tag as me/kin” discourse is doing its rounds again, I am now going to say that only art of my theriotypetype is allowed to be tagged as me/kin by other people. Nothing else I draw or make is allowed to be tagged as me/kin, only my ‘kin art is.
(Remember: It’s not about whether or not the artist is anti-kin or non-kin, it’s about respecting the fucking artist you entitled assholes.)
I just solve this by not tagging anything as kin. I just reblog pictures that make me warm and fuzzy _without tags_ . I don’t get why more people don’t do this or don’t use obscure personal tags.
I actually just keep a 3edgy5me kin-blog, but I have a personal kin tag too. I really don’t get why people don’t just do that either, like…it costs exactly $0 to not be a dick to artists!
I feel like some people just don’t care about not being dicks to people, even when it costs them nothing. Which is a shame.
