OK, I’m otherkin- fickin even, and yet I can see how ridiculous this is getting. It’s ok to a certain extent, saying you are the character/act like them is perfectly fine. (same goes for otherkin, but this is more aimed at other fickin. Not all but yeah.)
But when you go as far as bullying people because they have the same kintype as you. Why? What’s the point? Look, being fickin is a good way to help yourself. When people take it that far it’s just…agh!
Deep down inside, you’re not actually that character or animal. You’re not. You’re a living, breathing, human being. Not an alien, or in my case a sparkly pony princess. You’re not. Just because you claim you are doesn’t give you the right to belittle everyone else who shares your kintype.
I see this wayyyy too much and it needs to stop. Don’t even getting me STARTED on the whole “coded” part too.
Sorry, but if you do not believe you’re actually the character or animal, then you’re not fictionkin or otherkin.
Edit: I wanted to say I agree with you on all other points. Fighting over doubles is ridiculous.
