Why is this okay?
This is a question I’ve been asking myself all day. It started with people calling me a gatekeeper, an elitist, etc. all because I uphold the definition of otherkin/therians that is older than they are. Apparently it should be okay for people to slap on the otherkin/therian label if they want to, use it as a fad, etc. and no one has the right to tell them they aren’t otherkin/therian or expect them to explain why they hold the identity. I hope this strikes you as being wrong, I truly do.
