So my roleplaying group meets on Sundays, which has given us the perfect excuse to watch A Game of Thrones, HBO’s adaptation of George RR Martin’s Song of Ice and Fire series.
I’m not sure what to think of the series as a whole yet, but I do know that I like the characters.
One of my favorites at the moment is the incompetent egomaniac, Viserys Targaryen. Guilty of probably every character flaw ever thought up, Vissy is the prissy, over-entitled son of the deposed king. He wants his rightful kingdom back, like whoa, and is willing to do anything to get it.
The funny part is just how BAD he is at it. He’s a total fumbling boob, and overall gives the impression of a psychotic cat with no feet. Mean, pretty, and at the end of the day, kind of ridiculous and harmless.
I luff him. *pet*
Oh, and those of you who’ve read the books, YES I am spoiled, I do know his fate. 😛
