crossposted from my tumblr
I never use LJ any more. If you’re still interested in what I have to say, follow me on tumblr. This is my last post here.
Hope you guess my blah blah blah.
Why did I stop posting and fighting and consoling and advice giving? I’m sure people think its because I stopped believing the whole thing. ‘Grew up’, whatever. The answer is no, I didn’t stop believing, it just stopped being a belief that I felt I needed to defend, publicly, to everyone every minute of the day. Add that to how tiring and thankless the position was, given what a hot bed of drama the whole community was at the time, and I just had to distance myself from it as much as I could. I quieted down, I worked on other projects instead.
But I never stopped *believing*. I just stopped talking.
My name is Mordax and I was the Digimon Emperor, and before that, a demonic spirit from another world.
Why am I saying this now? Why break the peace and quiet and invite ridicule and drama into my life again? The truth is I don’t know, but its ben on my mind lately, gnawing, andmI woke up 15 minutes ago from a deep sleep feeling like there was a fire in my veins and that this is what i needed to write about. This is what was important.
And it is important. It has always been important. In the quiet spots in my mind it has been there, informing and shaping my life in small ways every day. Maybe its time to talk about it again.
A lot has happened in the three years since I’ve posted on this subject. Hell, I dont’t even know what the state of the community is any more. I know focus has shifted to so called ‘fictives’, which seem to be a blend term for soulbonds and kin? But really, I can tell, nothing important has changed. This phenomenon of having been a person from another world, or sharing mental space with same, still exists and is still worth talking about.
Even with all the drama.
This post is long enough now. I need to gather my thoughts for a real update, which will be coming soon.
