I see that some people are celebrating Otto Octavius’ birthday today, because there is one wiki that states that he was born Jan 10, 1960. I did some digging and this appears to be incorrect/fanon information without any canon source.
The date was added to the wiki without any citation, after being changed several times from similar dates, also without citation. There are no other webpages or sources that appear to predate it, and only one other webpage (explicitly fanon) that lists it at all.
I’m not saying people shouldn’t celebrate his birthday today, or any other day, but Jan 10 is not official, so to speak.
Otto would definitely want us all to be aware of the danger of trusting information spread without a primary source! If I’m wrong and there is an actual movie, comic, game, or other primary source for this info, I would love to hear about it!
