Internally Dersites are strikingly similar to humans, with a nearly identical skeletal and muscular system, etc. The combination of a heavy internal skeleton and an outer shell makes them incredibly tough and durable. It also results in them being quite heavy for their size. Archagent Jack Noir, skinny and barely over five feet tall, weighs in at around 200 pounds. (Details on how I came by that information may be discussed another time.) Dersites do in fact, eliminate waste in the same manner as humans, and Dersite genitalia is similar enough, however it will be the subject of another article.

Dersite teeth are quite strong, and tend to be quite long and sharp, depending on their rank and position, though some are flat toothed. The tongue and inside of the mouth are grey colored, like the joints, and a Dersite tongue is flatter, smoother, and generally more narrow than a human one. Being shelled, they do not have finger or toe-nails, though they do have, claw like protrusions at the tips of their digits, which may be filed down or sharpened. Dersites are completely hairless, both on their joints and shells.

Dersite eyes are strange to me, lacking both pupil and iris, instead a blank field of staring white, making it difficult to tell exactly where their gaze is. I do not believe they have insectoid compound eyes but I will admit to not having inquired in the matter. I do know they possess  at least a human range of color vision, and that they have far better than human night vision, like many nocturnal animals.

Dersites do not have a protrusive nose, the space there being flat, or at most only gently curved outward, with small, hardly noticeable nostril slits in the carapace. Likewise their ears have no outer structure, though this does not seem to negatively impact their hearing. Their lips are covered in what is likely the thinnest shell on the body, allowing them some flexibility, but less than human lips.
