Have you ever actually interacted with any carapacians before? Like a conversation?
I feel by now it should be apparent, but I will state here for the sake of transparency. At this point, I live full time on Derse. Before our session began, I was one of those rare and in some cases lucky players who experienced the medium through my dreamself– obviously, I am a Derse dreamer. These days I consider myself a citizen of the kingdom of Darkness, though of course there are those natives who would dispute my status.
I interact with carapacians when I go to the store, and when my mail is delivered. I have dated Dersites on occasion in fact. I have a mostly trivial ‘advisorial’ position in the palace as Dreamer Liaison. I have additionally, been on many trips to Skaia and to Prospit, and count myself privileged to have had tea with the Prospitian royals on a few occasions.
I shall clarify too that I moved out of my tower some time ago, and now occupy a rather nice apartment in the Palace District. It is, if not as pleasingly familiar, at least easier to invite guests over.
