Do you physically age while in the medium? Or do you remain the same age throughout the time you spend in your session?
This is a fascinating question that I am not entirely yet prepared to answer as my session has not yet been going long enough to notice a change one way or the other.
I do however have a few observations to share with you on the topic.
Firstly, all of our dream bodies, which have lain in the towers since the beginning of the medium, have always appeared at the age we were when we woke up on the moon. My dream body therefore was that of an elementary school child, whereas my coplayers bodies were more mature. However, since I woke up, my dream body aged in concert with my earth body.
My second observation is on the subject of ‘God Tier’ which of course confers immortality with the sacrifice of life. I tend to suspect that those who achieve God Tier will not age, even if it turns out other session mates do.
My third observation is that the game itself promises the player that he or she would become god of a new universe– and of course it is unbefitting of a god or goddess to age and die.
Finally, of course there is the fact that all of use players are gifted with and powered by the limitless energy of Skaia. I find it unlikely that it is Skaia’s will that players age and die.
