I need you to honestly tell me how SBURB works. If it’s truely honest to god real and if so how to get it. Please.

The number one question I am asked lately is ‘is sburb real and how can I get/can I give you a copy’.
To begin with yes, SBURB is real, and it goes by a number of names. SGRUB, SMMOB, SWAPB, etc etc. Generally it appears in the form of a videogame with a computer system, but I would theorize that it doesn’t need to be one. It could just as easily work with books and character sheets in a ‘Dungeons and Dragons’ framework. Because really all the ‘game’ is, is a system of progression, and a portal to another world.
The ‘game’ only exists to take you there, and to give your accomplishments context. SBURB is a portal to another reality- the reality that you were originally in, before being ejected into the one in which you currently reside. The game is a ‘key’ so to speak, and each key is unique to the lock that it opens. Your key could not open my lock- your copy of sburb could not allow you to enter my medium, and my key could not allow you to enter your medium.
I received my copy from Alex, our then-future Bard of Hope. As I have stated before he received the original disks in his mailbox, in a plain brown envelope with no return address. If this was a lie, I have not been able to ascertain it. I have little skill at computers myself, but Alex and the other savvy members of my session discussed the disks and the game fairly frequently, and this is what I have been able to ascertain.
- Alex was able to copy the data to physical disks
- When removed from the physical disk, the program would not run through a virtual disk drive, and when examined, the code appeared to be gibberish and not a true coding language
- The game only works on a physical copy of the disk
So unfortunately, as I do not exist in the same physical space as any of you, I am unable to send you a copy of the disk. I could send you a copy of the information on it, but it would more likely than not be completely useless to you. Sburb is a ‘game’ that bends reality. If it wants you to have a copy of it, you will, if it doesn’t you won’t. I believe rather than being code, the ‘game’ works on a semi-magical alchemical principle that merely is translated into ‘computer code’ for our benefit, as a way to appear normal. It more likely than not works on the same principles as the machines that one deploys into a client’s room.
I do not know if you, the reader, will ever play sburb, or get a copy of the game. What I can tell you is that if you wake up on Derse or Prospit, that the answer is most likely that yes you will. However, not waking up on a dream mood does not mean that you will never play the game. I think the best answer that I am able to give if you want to be proactive in getting to the medium, dear reader, is attach yourself to someone who has awakened, but who has not yet played the game. Then you will likely be in the ‘receiving pool’ when the time comes.
