Derse does not have any schools as we know them on Earth, that is, it does not have facilities dedicated to education in broad strokes for the purpose of integrating individuals with the typical level of society knowledge.

This is because all Dersites are created with their mind already primed with all necessary basic, cultural, historical, function, etc knowledge, as well as the necessary errata to preform their designated function. Thus, they have no need to learn the way beings with a growth cycle do.

However, Dersites have what they typical call hobby clubs, or craft centers, which are like schools for one particular subject. For example there are historical clubs, and clubs dedicated to learning about other planets, as well as things like sewing, collecting, cooking, etc.

At these clubs those Dersites who have knowledge of the subject, either because it has something to do with their job, or because they taught themselves from books, share their wisdom with their fellows, typically for a fee which pays for the instructor’s time, and for materials and refreshments.

Hobby clubs, like reading circles and correspondence clubs are one of the primary pastimes on Derse– aside of course from drinking, gambling, pornography, etc.
