i’m a john who’s debating on whether or not he should find his v.riska. i’m pretty sure she was my kismesis and i’d prefer to know some other people from my timeline before i meet my hategirlfriend you know? the problem is, no one in the hskin community really talks to me cuz i’m new. : /
I think that eventually, it would 8e good for you to find her– speaking from my own personal experiences with finding my quadrants– 8ut it’s totally understanda8le that you’d want to w8, and if you decide not to, that’s ultim8ly your choice to make!
8ut in regards to not 8eing a8le to talk to much of anyone 8ecause you’re new– I definitely remem8er how that feels. My suggestion is to start making more posts! Memory posts usually draw in a couple people, and you can make friends that way, timeline m8s or not. There’s also the possi8ility of applying to a network (although I’ve really only seen one recent one) or even starting your own! Aaaaaaaand the last thing I can think of is may8e making a post along the lines of “Hey, I’m ______ and I’m looking for some interaction! Like/reblog this post if you wouldn’t mind a John messaging you”, etc. etc.. You might not get too many notes, 8ut hopefully you can find someone! ::::)
Here’s another Vriska backing up the first one. 😛 It never hurts to try to get in contact with people and hash things out. That said, don’t be toooooooo disappointed if you only find people who’s memories are different than yours, whether by large or small degrees.
As for getting more into the community, I advocate chat networks as well. You could also look into non-tumblr message boards if you were interested in the larger kin community beyond just hskin.
and you can always talk to me :p I don’t *think* we share a timeline, but it could be fun anyway.
