Considering the discourse currently happening in the tag, I pose this question- what are those who are kin with someone who is racially coded supposed to do? Stop being kin? Stop acknowledging and acccepting a part of ourselves that many feel is central to their identity? Stop doing the things that, for many of us, are just the small ways to make ourselves feel more…..us? If anyone knows a way of stopping being kin, I would genuinely like to know what that is
