so like, I understand the concept of spiritual otherkin, and I guess even being kin as a coping mechanism like w mental illness
but otherwise I’m like ?????
I really want to understand, can someone please explain it? I’ve heard people compare it to being trans (or mock it for being transphobic), but like–I get relating to an animal and all or like ‘wow I really like this animal and feel similar to it and stuff’, but
????
How you mentally fully or even partly ‘be’ another animal?
And there’s fictionkin and faekin which i REALLY don’t get. Like, fairies and mermaids don’t exist, and after mad max came out someone was like ‘I’m nuxkin it all makes sense now’ but nux is a brand-new character that never existed until relatively recently how the he k
You can’t just BE a fictional character trapped in a real persons body
I probably sound like an ass sorry I’m just really confused
Ever since I was a small child I experienced feelings and sensations that I could not explain. Strange homestickness, odd word choice, strangely advanced reading and writing level, etc ect. I had a terrible fear of elevator crashes (I had recurring nightmares where I was an adult man and died in an elevator), and a terror of choking to death on my own blood, to name a few.
Before I say anything I just want to apologize if I sound rude or like I’m trying to diminish your experience, I’m not doing it out of malice I’m just trying to wrap my head around it:
How could you have been ken in a past life, when he’s a character from someone’s imagination, in a show that was–at the time–currently on air?
No offense taken, I get this question a lot. I’m on mobile or I’d type the whole thing up for you again. The short answer is I believe I was Ken in an alternate universe where the events of the series (or rather events very very similar) happened. You can read a more detailed explanation of it here on my website! Http://fictionkin.net/multiverse-theory/
