How do you feel about fanfiction regarding yourself? Have you ever written fanfiction of yourself?
I ask because I find myself wanting to write Star Wars fanfiction lately. I’ve even posted something to my ao3 account the other day.
But it’s just a little funny thing that I could never see happening in my own life as Luke. I thought of something funny that could have potentially happened (but didn’t happen to me) and wrote about it.
I’m not sure. This could be an argument for me not being Luke. Which… certainly makes me feel uncomfortable, but it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been mistaken about something like this.
But the memories I have are not like what I thought those other times. I’ve had these memories since before I saw the films, and only realized they were memories after watching them. This could be my imagination, though.
(shrug emoji) I guess I’ll keep meditating on it.
I used to write short fanfiction (drabbles) about Ken from Digimon. Some of these were drawn from actual memories, but others were just things I could imagine happening that I found amusing in some way. We explore our past in a lot of different ways, and thats okay.
