I’ve been kin with Terezi for a LONG time, even before I knew what otherkin were, but I always try to tell myself I’m not because, besides the fact I’m not legally blind, I have a very poor sense of smell and my sensitive taste/gag reflex makes it far too difficult to use my tongue for anything. (I’m not saying that I lick things in this life, obviously, but I can’t identify tastes by themselves and etc)
Terezi, I know being blind was really important to who you were, but please don’t let the fact that you’re sighted in this life make you doubt who you are. The Terezi I knew regained her sight for a little while and it really upset her, so I figure its not weird that it messes you up. But this is a new life, a new body and everything. So your body has experienced different things than the old one did? It can do some things better, and some things worse. But its just a meat robot that holds the real you, and I don’t want you to lose that. -V
