As a pagan
I went to Catholic school growing up, and to a Presbyterian church for a while before that. I have personally known wonderful people who were devout followers of Christ, and I think Jesus’ message as written in the bible is a great philosophy. I would totally have a glass of wine with the boy from Bethlehem if it ever came up. But by all that’s good in the universe, conservative christian evangelical extremists are the one group that seriously frightens and upsets me most in the world.
