problematicgumshoe: *tells people that their identities are invalid and triggers a shit ton of fictionkin and fictives by saying they aren’t allowed to be things based off a list of almost 100% headcanons*
problematicgumshoe: “I wasn’t trying to invalidate anyone even though I just told people that their horrible people for something they have absolutely no control over!”
Me along with some other fictives: “Hey, this is wrong and you’re legitimately triggering people with this.”
problematicgumshoe: “Ok. I apologize but ONLY to fictives because they can’t control who they are and kin can”
Me: “Fine. I’ll stick to supporting my kin pals and drop that part of the argument.”
problematicgumshoe: *literally does the exact same thing that they apologized for with their vague as fuck wording AGAIN*
Me: “Hey, you’re still doing this.”
problematicgumshoe: “But I apologized the first time I did it so it’s ok”
Person: *calls problematicgumshoe a faker”
Me: “Whoa calm down, their isn’t any proof that she’s a faker and let’s not call people fakers because there’s already too much of that among fictives as it is even if I think she’s an asshole and her blog is looking for attention.”
problematicgumshoe: “You called me an asshole! I’m going to block you!”
people who can actually somehow hold a polite debate with this person who has obviously tossed logic out the window to this point: “Hey, could you please not invalidate people’s identities?”
problematicgumshoe: “I’m not invalidating anyone or telling anyone that they have to give up their kintypes, I’m just ENCOURAGING it. It’s totally different and not the same in any way. My headcanons are 100% canon because I said so and all of you are blocked because you dared to disagree with me!”
