If you get handed business cards or see flyers at your school that tell you to “Call or Apply Online” at SummerWorkNow.com, please make sure you know what you’re getting into. It’s part of a cutlery manufacturer, you will be making commission selling knives.
The ones we got at our school say “$18.00 Guaranteed,” but they do not list much information about the company, what people will be doing, or what people have to do to get that $18.
The company is called Vector Marketing, here is their wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vector_Marketing
They have a history of lawsuits for failing to adhere to labor laws. Plenty of people are deeming this a scam.
Please be careful getting into this because the money is not steady, it is all based on commission, and the company has a history of lawsuits. Always assume that if a company does not give you information about the job you will be doing, it has something to hide
