I thought i should make this post as an FYI and awareness post. Please reblog???
I was notified by my boyfriend today of a movie trailer coming out that he told me to avoid at all costs. When I asked why i should avoid this, he explained the situation.
He told me the movie makes fun of abusive mothers heavily, and puts them in a silly / fun light. Appalled by this, I decided to watch the trailer for myself.
The movie Bad Moms (trailer link here) gives me a…really bad vibe. Like really bad. Watching the trailer had me on edge, had me worried, and gave me the feeling this was going to be a joke about abusive mothers??? They mock lesbians as well??? making the usual “drunk girls make out with girls and its hot” stereotype???
I’m just. Really unnerved by it and it’s hard to even type a clear post about this because it’s bugging me so badly so.
