Personal pet peeve: When people say “I kin with [insert kintype here]”
Like, using it as a verb. Even using the word “with” indicates that you recognize a degree of separation between you and “your kintype”, implying that you two are not the same entity.
One one hand, I understand that grammar is flexible and whatnot, but I just can’t help but think that using the word “kin” in this context is giving people the wrong impression.
