I like the idea of this message, however, what I don’t like is typifying monogamous marriages as ‘victorious’, as it unnecessarily shames those in loving, successful polyamorous relationships and marriages. Not every couple considers sleeping with another person a ‘failure’.

I’m very confused by it as well and am struggling to infer a joke, so it’s not just you, friend.
I’m not sure if the joke is the hilarious amount of “DONT FLIRT DONT FLIRT IM MARRIED” in this, whether it’s just fun because it’s a mom meme, or what.
I’m glad its not just me ^^;;
And I suppose the over the top nature of the message being repeated and emphasized could constitute a joke, but the problem is that especially in the culture of tumblr people often deliberately ‘jokingly’ overemphasize a message that they mean very sincerely…
