Can we get a kin tag for otherkin like 25+?

Most of the shit in the current kin tags is cringey af or entirely aimed at 16 year olds

I would be really happy with an adults only corner of the kin community tbh.

I’m not old enough for otherkin Adult Swim ;(

🙁 I feel a bit bad about making it 25+ because I know lots of cool otherkin below that, but a lot of the nonsense doesn’t seem to get filtered out until you hit the pockets of otherkin that are around 22/23+

Something for those 20+ would be great, certainly beats 16 year olds trying to teach you about things you’ve known for like a decade already as if they’re an expert.

For real, and generally filtering out a lot of the aesthetic posts ( though I do like some of them, but the completely clog up the tags sometimes)

Oh god the aesthetic posts. Between those and the pendulum readings and self care posts and the spam bots I’ve pretty much given up on any real info in the kin tag.

I like some of them too but if they had their own tag like #kinrequests or something that would be great.

Aesthetics don’t belong in the same tag as genuine discussion of Kin topics, let’s be real here.

Ideally, imho, we’d have, like

  • An aesthetic tag, perhaps relating to alter-humanity then outright kin, because it seems a lot of those askers are copinglinkers. We need to endorse their inclusion in that umbrella term if it’s ever going to make it to it’s own validated and accepted community.
  • Sticking to these age tags since older kin have usually been in this boat since around the same time younger people come into it. Older kin will usually have made more progress then the younger ones, and an adultkin tag gives more room for topics that might be 18+, whatever those may be.
  • A Q&A tag of some sort? Leaving questions out to be answered by the community as a whole in a space designated for those looking for answers and those willing to volunteer info/resources.
  • And the catch all otherkin and fictionkin tags we have now.

Granted, I like tagging things. If yall haven’t noticed … oops.

what about something like #kincommunity or for divines #divinecommunity ?

#kinmunnity is snappier~ maybe #Kinquestions for the Q & A?

people have been using kinmunity as a term for the otherkin community on Tumblr for a while now so that might work

The problem is kinmunity is a specific forum off tumblr.

Yeah but who uses that tag to talk about that forum here?

If you look at the tag right now, most of the posts in it are from the Kinmunity website’s official tumblr, which is also called kinmunity.
