I guess? I don’t mind weird though. My fiancee and I literally met because she randomly messaged me out of the blue on the old homestuck messenger Pesterchum.
I literally hit the random user button when I was bored one day, liked his screen name , and talked to him. And he was an amazing guy ^^ and now we’re together.
