Question for otherkin
So if we refer to otherkin by otherkin pronouns, why don’t we refer to the respective things they are kin as with those pronouns? For example, we don’t refer to cats by kitself pronouns, but (some) catkin prefer that pronoun. IMHO, as a transgender person, if an otherkin were to imply that it was a gender, that would really offend me and be the same as transphobes making half-assed jokes about NB genders.
But otherkin isn’t a gender. Anyone who implies such is seriously misinformed, or a troll. And…“otherkin pronouns” aren’t a thing? Unless He/She/They are apparently some fancy special otherkin pronouns now, considering I’m a therian and those are the pronouns I use?
bunself/kitself/plantself/faeself etc are NONBINARY identity pronouns, not OTHERKIN identity pronouns, and the two have nothing to do with one another.
