it did kinda sound like you were saying you can only have one personality disorder. But, there are freaking professionals out there who don’t even think you can have ONE personality disorder, so even if that WAS your stance, oh fucking well?
Yeah, I will be honest, I have *no* background in mental health studies, which I stated and is in their callout post even! I try not to even bring up my stance on mental health issues because it is so distorted and uncertain thanks to my abuse.
My father doesn’t believe in psychiatry and thinks mental illnesses are labels given out by doctors to oppress people they “don’t like the personality of”. And of course as a little kid I absorbed a lot of that attitude, and I struggle with ridding myself of it. But there is always this little voice in my head that is trying to tell me “mental illness doesn’t exist!”
So yeah, my opinion on mental health is pretty much “fuck man I have no clue don’t ask me”
