soulbonds and any form of it are fake, stay out of the systematicpride tag
I’m sorry soulbonders are fake *what*? What exactly do you believe they are faking?
No soulbonder is claiming to have DID/OSDD-1 or need medical/psychiatric attention for their soulbonding.
Soulbonders are people who believe they share headspace with fictional characters and other spirits. If you somehow find that offensive that’s on you, not them/us.
However, since you insist on putting soulbonding in a medical frame of refrence, let me present you with a couple of possibilities that may not have occurred to you.
- There are worldwide religious beliefs that involve sharing your body with spirits from outside of it. The DSM makes a note of these cultural beliefs and exempts them from diagnoses of DID/OSDD-1.Therefore, soulbonding as a belief can be considered to be exempt from diagnosis.
- People who believe they have soulbonds could be undiagnosed DID sufferers with repressed trauama.
- People who call their headmates soulbonds could be DID sufferers who don’t wish to make their trauma or diagnosis public.
- People who believe they have soulbonds could be delusional or hallucinating and unaware of that fact.
- People who believe they have soulbonds could be delusional or hallucinating, aware of it, and not want to make that fact public.
- It is none of your business what trauma someone has or hasn’t gone through.
