It is absolutely POURING out and thundering like a motherfucker and it is the most gorgeous sound ever. Like the whole outside world is just going to get washed away.
Isn’t it gorgeous??? The ride to work was beautiful. You could just see the Lightning arching through the sky, like cracks in the universe, illuminating the street like it was the middle of day. The rain was *flooding* everything, and at times the road looked like a rippling mirror. And in that mirror, you could see the flashes and cracks of the Lightning above. It was *amazing*.
