Been working on finding some more sources on phantom limbs in different categories – finding info on supernumerary phantom limbs, info on research on phantom limbs created through illusions/mind manipulation, not articles that reference otherkin with phantom limbs, etc.

One thing we noticed when we first started off was how immediately we found academic articles and news articles reverent to our search just by googling “phantom limbs in non-amputees.“

Here are a few things we found just within the first two pages of that first search (not all of these have been fully cited yet forgive me on that)…

It’s like people who say that non-amputees can’t experience phantom limbs, or can’t call them “phantom limbs” because that term is specific to amputees have never bothered to Google search the topic or similar to see if that is actually the case…
