this whole endogenic sys things is like

“I have endogenic did and no symptoms of it but if u tell me i dont have it ur gatekeeping!” thats what endo systems are saying, they dont have diagnostic criteria for any system disorder, and they dont have any symptoms, but theyre claiming to have it, thats not gatekeeping if we tell you that you dont have the disorder that you fit NONE of the criteri for, would you do it w any other disorder?? then dont do it w did/osdd!! dont!!

one of the criteria is you MUST have trauma to have a system, trauma could be repressed or forgotten or not considered “enough” by you but it must be present so even if u dont wanna relive it i understand but dont use the term endogenic becaus thats just wrong its incorrect and spreading more lies so

yeah

Okay, you’ve obviously never even read the diagnostic criteria.
Because trauma isn’t in there, and plurality (what you call “being a system”) is only 1/5 of the diagnosis.
You can still have 1/5 and not the rest, and still be plural.
Here’s how it works:

Brief overview of the Dx criteria for DID in DSM5

1. One or more ego states that can assume executive control.

2. Amnesia must be present.

3. Numbers 1 & 2 have to be causing severe distress and dysfunction in one or more areas of life.

4. It’s not the result of anything in the person’s cultural/religious background.

5. It’s not the result of substance abuse, or another medical/psychiatric disorder.

That’s it.
Don’t meet them, you don’t have DID.
You only meet criteria 1 and none of the others?
You’re plural.
You just don’t have DID.

The diagnostic criteria determine if the person has DID.

They are not there to determine if the person is or isn’t plural.

By meeting the first criterion, they are, by necessity, plural.

They just don’t have DID.

Even if it is part of their religion/culture or a result of some other condition, they are still plural.

They just don’t have DID.

Get it, yet?
