it feels like. super anti-endogenic gatekeepers can do terrible shit like harass folks, call them faking not only their experiences of multiplicity but other ones too (“if someone thinks their autism caused their multiplicity, they probably are neither multiple nor autistic” ;P), invade tags, call us abusers again and again, etc., and it’s like… “well that’s not part of the belief that non-traumagenic multiplicity can’t exist; that’s just those assholes but you can’t generalize”
but an endogenic system doing something shitty in response (and there have been shitty things, like pestering folks who try not to engage in the discourse if they express disbelief in endogenic multiplicity or questioning the very concept of traumagenic multiplicity) feels like it reflects badly on non-DID multiplicity itself, a perfectly valid reason to call all endogenic systems ableist abusers, etc.
