hallowedbone:

Good signs that a blog is a troll, even if they look convincing because they’ve learned how to trick you:

– go to their /archive, it’s probably very short, yet they act like they’ve always been there and are already well-versed in discourse (because they’ve studied on how to offend people)

– all their posts are themed and obviously found in quick tag searches with minimal effort (tons of whatever kintype they’re pretending to be, positivity posts with a lot of notes, nothing personal or anything that shows actual blog use, etc)

– their fake kintypes are stereotypical; Steven Uni*verse and Under*tale are red flags, unfortunately for the people who actually are from those sources

– their own text posts are spammed across popular tags that might have nothing to do with each other, bonus points if they cross-tag LGBTQ tags with #otherkin

– their bio pages are usually just “kintypes” and whatever self-dx labels will get people angry enough

– they’re overreacting EVERYWHERE

– “trans species”

– “otherkin pronouns”

– if it looks too goddamn ridiculous to be real, it probably isn’t

– if all these points apply to the same blog at once, then holy shit
