my main problem with all the anti-kink discourse going around is that it always completely ignores dominant women, nonbinary dominants, submissive men. nonbinary submissives, and, most egregiously, switches of all genders
like you can talk all you want about ddlg being a coercive relationship with a man manipulating a ~poor innocent woman victim~ (not even gonna touch how that mindset inherently infantilizes female submissives) but the fact of the matter is not all bdsm relationships involve male dominants, in fact professional femdoms who mainly service submissive men are a significant portion of sex workers, and most bdsm/kink takes place in non-straight relationships anyway
like god the biggest fucking kinksters in the world are gay men
i’d love to hear an anti-kinkster actually talk about this for once instead of dodging the issue and continuing with “all doms are gross old men and women are coerced into submitting!”
Whyyyyy would they ever talk about it?! It completely ruins their made up narrative of kink as by-product of the Patriarchy and they’d have to admit its relationship to queerness and that just doesn’t fit with respectability politics!
