@schwarzadrawehr This. Men characters are allowed to self-determine & to make mistakes, but only selflessness & purity/perfection are allowed from woman characters. The demand for selflessness is a big part of why people bag on Mystique as bad mom so often but give Mags and Chuck a pass.
