can someone explain to me why the whole “id” and then “this character is literally me not even kin or id” thing came about? because its ridiculous and it makes no sense
i never understood ranking your kintypes in the first place but at least the primary-secondary-tertiary system makes sense if youre ranking how relevant they are to you currently, or how often you shift to different kintypes
but imo the whole “literally me” thing is just so yall can shit on doubles and call them fake
i get not being comfortable with doubles! i do, honestly. i get not wanting to talk to them, or maybe shittalking them in private. but this whole “i am the only real x, dont follow if you think youre me” is out of hand and fucking rude
kintypes are you. they are lives that you have lived and remembered and are a part of you. you can achieve the same thing as “literally me” or “id” by just calling them your kintypes
