The relationship between the two queens begins the session as apparently nonexistent. When I awoke on Derse the Black and White Queen had neither seen nor spoken directly to one another since their genesis on Skaia at the beginning of the medium. As I have mentioned previously of course, the two did maintain a secret occasional correspondence of their own during the war though I am not entirely privy to the contents of it.

The two regard are enemies by prophecy, and adversaries by personality, since as twins, they have much more opposite one another than in common. Despite that, unlike the kings, the two of them have always regarded one another with mutual, cautious respect, though the White Queen believes her twin too harsh and cold, and the Black her twin too softhearted and easily swayed by her emotions. However they both recognize the other as a strong and capable leader of their planet; and I do believe I once heard the Black Queen remark that her twin was many things, but certainly not unattractive.

Since the war has ended the relationship between the two has warmed somewhat. They met initially to discuss treaties, and have met several times since on Kingdom business, each time on neutral ground. I do not think that the two will ever be friends, but they certainly enjoy one another’s company from the standpoint that they share a position in life only the other can fully understand.
