As long suspected, the people who think you should stop being kin with disabled characters think all fictionkin are fakers who are pretending to be fictional characters for fun.
Allow me to rephrase. When you say people canât be kin of disabled characters if they arenât disabled, you are reducing people to only their disability. (and also fundamentally misunderstanding how being kin works)
When you say someone canât be kin with a character who is disabled, you are reducing that character to only their disability.
Having a human body that doesnât match your kintype/kinselfâs body is normal, and part of the typical kin experience.
