So, if you’re incredibly loyal to Derse, and you woke up at an incredibly early age….have you ever accidentally referred to the Queen as your mother?
I am certain that I have at least once jokingly referred to her as ‘mom’, in the vein of ‘thanks, mom’ having received some unasked for parental style advice.
On a more serious note, I would say that in some ways the Black Queen has been a mother figure to me, more so perhaps now that my own mother is gone. I have sought advice from the Queen reflexively through the years growing up in matters both serious and less so, and while she has not always been warm, in these cases she has been patient, for which I have thanked her. Likewise, I admire her, and she has been a great inspiration to me in times of trouble.
