how do fictionkins identify as a fictional character? they’re fictional…non-existance and a creative production by a mind…sure they might have the same characteristics, race or gender etc but you’re a *real* being right?

Please don’t let trolls and fakers color your view of kin. Its not a gender, we’re not oppressed, and we’re not ‘trans-racial’. Nobody is seriously chair-kin, or toilet-kin, nor are we some kind of bestiality group. Unfortunately these are things that ignorant people believe because they see troll and fake kin and believe them to be genuine.
In general i’m okay with people who are kin because of religion and professionally diagnosed with illnesses causing them to believe they are this and that but some people just want to be so special with their self diagnosed illnesses
I will be honest most genuine and older kin do not like those types of people calling themselves kin either. There was a time when people called themselves kin pretty much only for spiritual reasons. I won’t say being kin can ever be psychological (for those who don’t believe in souls) but being kin is not a symptom of mental illness and I am very annoyed with people who appropriate it as one.
