What’s it like being 30 and in the fictionkin/fictive community? I too am also 30 and in this community as well, and I’ve gotten a lot of hate for it and told that I can’t talk to other people about anything because I’m too old to talk to people. Any words of advice?
It can be tough, anon. But stick through it. There are a lot of people in their 20s, and even in their 30s and older who will want to talk to you. There are even teens. The thing is you have to remember that the assholes who don’t want to talk to you don’t have anything worthwhile to say anyway.
