i miss the world before/worlds without cars and concrete everywhere. I miss riding in a bumpy carriage over a dirt road through farming country. I miss wandering through the countryside, and cresting a hill, seeing the world spilling out below me in miles an miles of green and blue. I miss brambly, wild places, and tiny little towns with superstitions non one else has heard of, and inns that serve nothing but brown bread and bean soup that’s half onion.
