I may need some clarification about what you mean here, because when I read ‘no pants and no shirt’ what I understand is ‘naked’. It is socially unacceptable for Dersite to appear naked in public. It would be considered either overtly sexual, or completely ridiculous depending on the context.

Going shirtless by itself is considered quite risque; rather like a woman appearing shirtless and bra-less, in modern western culture. Prudes will likely be offended, some may avert their eyes, and the shirtless person may accrue some lascivious stares from those passing by.

Half-shirts, or midriff baring shirts which reveal the lower part of the stomach (such as worn by the Prospitian Parcel Mistress) are considered risque but socially acceptable, rather on the level of showing a daring amount of cleavage in human society. I take pains to reaffirm that this is true for both male and female carapaces. Furthermore strapless tops which show the full shoulder joint are also risque in a similar manner.
